Nedlands Yacht Club will host The 2017 Australian Schools Team Championship Regatta

Thursday 6th – Monday 10th July 2017

Following a very successful State Championship regatta, Nedlands Yacht Club will host the Australian Secondary Schools Team Championships.  Teams are invited by the Australian Team Sailing Association to compete at the Australian Championships following selection regattas held by each state association.

The Australian Championships are a prestigious event, allowing exceptional teenage sailors from around Australian a chance to showcase their skills in team racing.

Nedlands Yacht Club offers the perfect venue for teams racing with a wide expanse of rigging lawn and a race area on the beautiful Swan River just off the beach, within easy viewing for the spectators.

All information required by competitors will be available via this web page as it becomes available, including Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions.  So keep a watch on this page.

The Galley will be open during the regatta for lunches and light snacks. Teams wishing to take advantage of the Galley to provide team lunches can do so via the Galley Lunch Order Form below.  Order forms must be returned to Nedlands prior to the regatta.

Online Registration

Registration and entry fee payment for the 2017 Australian Secondary Schools Team Championship is via the on-line link below.

On-line registration will require the contact details for the adult responsible for the team during the regatta (usually the team manager).  Sailor’s details are not required at time of registration, but must be supplied to the race committee 7 days prior to the regatta starting.  Team registration will not be accepted by the race committee until full team details are supplied.

Payment of the entry fee and the damage deposit will be required during the on-line registration process.  Payment can be made via credit card or via POLIpay (similar to PayPal).

Completing a team registration is considered acceptance by all team members of the rules governing the regatta, including the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions.
