Workbays

The third Cruiser Work Bay gates and fencing have been completed and the third work bay is now available.

Water, power, drainage and concrete paving still need to be installed.

Water can be accessed from the tap near the trees in the Cruiser rigging area.

A hose extension will need to be used to reach the new third bay.

Power is available from the power point on the wall behind the orange tractor.

All antifouling work, i.e. hosing down, scraping, sanding and painting must be done in these new work bays to meet the Swan River Trust requirements, the old work bays can no longer be used for antifouling work. Tarps must be used under the boats when cleaning down so that all the solid rubbish can be collected and put in one of the large disposal bins up near the main club house. This is a temporary arrangement until the waste disposal system and concrete paving can be installed.

Sand blasting and spray painting can NOT be carried out at NYC as directed by the Swan River Trust.

The first 28 days use of the work bays are free then a fee of $11.00 per day is charged to encourage the quick completion of the work so that the bay becomes available to the next member. With only three work bays available, instead of five previously, it is extremely important to vacate the bays as soon as practical

.

ALL the work bays must be booked. Contact us for more information.
