Nedlands Yacht Club 2021/22 Sailing Scholarships

Nedlands Yacht Club is committed to encouraging youth into the sport of Sailing. This opportunity has been created to give two young people the chance to experience what dinghy sailing has to offer as a healthy, sporting option.

Nedlands Yacht Club is offering two Sailing Scholarships to students aged between the ages of 12 and 15.

This Scholarship includes:

• 5 week ‘Start Sailing’ Course held at Nedlands Yacht Club on Sunday mornings (Valued at $280)
• Free Junior membership to Nedlands Yacht Club for the 2020-2021 season on completion of the course. (Valued at $165)
• Opportunity to crew in club racing on Sunday afternoons.

To apply, applicants will need to:

• Provide name, date of birth, contact details and permission of on the accompanying form
• Write approximately 100 words as to why they would like to try sailing.
• Be prepared to attend Nedlands Yacht Club on Sunday mornings between Sunday 14th November 2021 – 19th December 2021
